Supervision with Ben
I offer clinical supervision that is thoughtful, relational and rooted in respect for you as a practitioner. Whether you’re newly qualified, in training, or many years into practice, supervision with me is a space where you can think freely, speak honestly, and feel genuinely supported, not assessed, corrected, or performed to.
My approach to supervision is humanistic and relational, meaning I see supervision as a collaborative relationship rather than a hierarchical one. You are not coming to be “managed” — you are coming to be met as a professional with your own voice, instincts and ethical judgement. My role is to walk alongside you, offering perspective, challenge, containment and care, while staying deeply attuned to your clients, your wellbeing, and the systems you work within.
Supervision with me is a space where complexity is welcome. We can think together about client work, emotional impact, ethical tensions, professional identity, and the realities of working in the world as it is — not as textbooks imagine it to be. I aim to create a steady, reflective space where you can bring uncertainty, doubt, confidence, frustration, hope — all of it belongs here.
I hold professional responsibility seriously, while also believing that supervision should feel human, supportive and nourishing rather than heavy, performative or punitive. My intention is that you leave supervision feeling clearer, steadier, more resourced, and more connected to your own way of working.
Above all, I offer supervision as a relationship — one built on trust, warmth, integrity and mutual respect — where good work is supported, not forced.
